Vom 27. bis zum 29. Januar 2012 lädt das Gamelab Karlsruhe erstmalig zum Global Game Jam ein. 2008 von der International Game Developers Association (IGDA) ins Leben gerufen, mobilisiert der Global Game Jam auf der ganzen Welt mehrere Tausend Gamedesign Enthusiasten innerhalb von 48 Stunden unter Einsatz von Schweiß, Blut und geistiger Gesundheit ihre Ideen in Spiel-Protypen umzusetzen.

Teilnehmen kann jeder, egal ob Designer, Grafiker, Musiker oder Programmierer, egal ob Profi oder Neuling. Da wir wir leider nur 15 Plätze zu vergeben haben, bitten wir um eine verbindliche Anmeldung. Teilnehmer müssen 18 Jahre oder älter sein und sowohl Hard- als auch Software selber mitbringen.

From the 27th to the 29th of January, 2012 the Gamelab Karlsruhe invites for the first time to the Global Game Jam. Everybody can take part, no matter whether designer, graphic artist, musician or programmer, no matter whether professional or novice. Because we have to award unfortunately only 15 places, we ask for an obliging registration. Participants must or be older than 18 years and hardware as well as software you have to bring yourself.
