Vom 02. bis 11. September präsentierte die Kunstausstellung interaktive Installationen, Workshops und Performance im Stadtraum Karlsruhes.
Jens Stober, Jan Cordes, Marianne Schmidt und Hedi Haase zeigten Installationen im öffentlichen Raum. Die Konzepte zum Thema “Tür” / “Eingang” oder “Durchgang” wurden im Rahmen des Seminars “LOCKPICKING” unter der Leitung von Prof. Michael Bielicky entwickelt und von der Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co KG gesponsert. Fast vierzig regionale und internationale Künstler bereicherten die Eröffnung und den Abschlussabend mit Beiträgen aus den Bereichen Fotografie, Sound, Performance und Literatur. Der litauische Gastkünstler Julijonas Urbonas zeigte seine Installationen “Sounding Doors” am Hauptbahnhof und dem ZKM und hielt Workshops im Kunstraum Morgenstrasse.

From the 2nd to the 11th of September the art exhibition presented interactive installations, workshops and performance in the town space of Karlsruhe.
Jens Stober, Jan Cordes, Marianne Schmidt and Hedi Haase showed installations in the public space. The drafts on the subject “door” / “entrance” or “passageway” were developed within the scope of the seminar “LOCKPICKING” under the direction of Prof. Michael Bielicky and were sponsored by the Franz Schneider Brakel GmbH + Co. KG. Nearly forty regional and international artists enriched the opening and the final evening with contributions from the areas of photography, sound, performance and literature. The Lithuanian guest artist Julijona Urbonas showed his installations “Sounding Doors” in the central station and the ZKM and held workshops in the art space Morgenstrasse.
