„Raus aus der HfG!“ Unter diesem Motto initiierte Prof. Michael Bielicky, der seit dem Wintersemester 2006/2007 an der HfG lehrt, das Seminar „Go Public“. Er forderte Studierende aus dem Bereich Digitale Medien/InfoArt dazu auf, ihre kreativen Ideen im öffentlichen Raum zu realisieren. Ein Projekt dieses Seminars heißt „Go Public / Guerilla Screening“ und wird am 09.02.2007 ab 18.00 Uhr auf dem Marktplatz in Karlsruhe zu sehen sein. Mit Hilfe von je zwei Projektoren, Stromgeneratoren und Notebooks werden künstlerische Arbeiten auf die umliegenden Häuser projiziert. Das Projekt soll, laut Michael Bielicky zeigen, dass der öffentliche Stadtraum auf unkonventionelle und frische Art und Weise kreativ genutzt werden kann. Die Stadt Karlsruhe soll auch in Zukunft mit solchen Aktionen kulturell bereichert werden.

“Get out of the HfG!” This was the motto of the seminar “Go Public” initiated by Prof. Michael Bielicky, who has been teaching at the HfG since winter term 2006/2007. He invited Digital Media / InfoArt students to realize their creative ideas in public space. One project of this seminar is called “Go Public / Guerilla Screening” and can be seen on 09.02.2007 at 18.00 o’clock on the Marktplatz (market square) in Karlsruhe. Using two projectors, power generators and notebooks artistic works will be projected on the surrounding houses. The project will, according to Michael Bielicky show that the public urban space can be used creatively in an unconventional and fresh way. The city of Karlsruhe is also to be culturally enriched in the future with such actions.
